Something for the weekend

It’s bank holiday again!

Friday

Sound City begins today! The city will busy busy busy with so much going on. Sound City returns to Liverpool in a whole new location and it  begins today.  There is music to almost everyone’s taste and new setting at docks! As well as some major headliners, there are lots of Merseyside’s own artists to catch.  All We Are a trio from Liverpool will be delighting us with psychedelic disco grooves on Saturday on the Atlantic stage. We are super excited to check out the new venue!

Waxx presents Jeff Mills, Blawan & PSYK at Camp & Furnance. Tickets are £20.00 and can be bought on the door.

Also tonight, Physical Fest begin today! There will be many performances over the next few days. It launches tonight at the Unity Theatre from 6 to 8pm with free performances from  Solotoria The Boom Booms, Tmesis Graduates, and more special guests. There will be artist all over the city this weekend from all all over the world. This is an international festival for physical theatre, so expect the boundaries to be pushed and and your mind.

Saturday

Freeze is holding a good old party in the Bombed Out Church Saturday and Sunday. Jamie XX, Young Turks, and more. This will be amazing. The last Freeze at the Bombed Out Church 11196327_808221602590164_6307446461738048331_nlooked like a good boogie in the sun.

Patterson‘s is hosting Down to Funk, kicking off at 9 pm.  There will be hip hop, funk, disco, and soul so we recommend taking a few risk with the outfit choice but chose something you can definitely have a boogie in.

Sunday

Cunard’s Three Queens sail into the Liverpool on Sunday and Monday. The Queen Mary 2 will arrive on Sunday followed by Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria on Monday. This will  make a great Sunday morning or hangover Monday activity.

Freeze is presenting the second installment of there 16 hours of music with Crazy P live,  Tensnake, Psychemagik, and more at the Bombed Out Church.  There are still some tickets available to buy. This day time party could be only the beginning of your Sunday fun!

Sessions Faction and Sustained Audio will be partying at Camp & Furnace bringing us a night full of bass and hopefully all the dancing. Sustained Audio is an Irish based record label with lots of new talent and you can always expect good vibes from Sessions. This one is free before 11 pm and only £4 after.  We are thinking it will be blast to just get involved and get dancing.

Hope you all have good weekend and enjoy the extra day off!
