Something for the weekend… Friday and Saturday!

It’s finally Friday!


Tonight in Liverpool there is lots to choose from . Waxxx presents Booka Shade at Camp & Furnace.  They are a Berlin based duo who have recently released a new vocal club mix of their top track “Line Of Fire”. They have been gracing music for ten year and are known for their energy when playing. Tickets are £10 and available on the door.

 Eat Your Greens is presenting Marcus Nasty and Miss Represent at the Kazimier. Marcus Nasty is a grime pioneer but has been pushing UK funky recently so expect a set full of great tunes and dancing will be enviable.  His sets are full of bass, fun, and funky. There is likely be good vibes all around. Tickets are £10 on the door but available to buy from Lost Art or D’jango’s Riff for £8.


Less Effects is hosting Deadboys Dancehall at The Shipping Forecast. Doors open at 11 and you can look forward to dancehall, garage, hip hop, and dupstep. All good things! Tickets are £6 .

Today is also the start of the UK’s largest Gin Festival in Manchester! With 80 different gins to try, we are gutted we aren’t there! The event runs Friday to Sunday afternoon. 10898239_849847331744924_1293242561496789624_n (2)Tickets are only £7!  We have only recently started appreciating gin in cocktails. It would be a blast to try all of the different ones. Snoop Dogg definitely had the right idea, who doesn’t want to be sipping on some gin!?


mUmU presents  Ostgut Ton w/ Steffi, Ryan Elliott & Baumecker at New Bird Street Warehouse. 11037567_930321500312366_2866894719345551476_nmUmU always brings the party with boss techno and house music.  They’re offering us a taste of Berlin right on our doorstep! mUmu is a chance to party right through to 5 am, so we would recommend some fabulous but comfortable dancing shoes. Tickets are £15.

Propella presents Max Chapman + Guests at Camp & Furnance. It is the 4th free HAUS event this year. There will be all the house music you could dream of and it’s free!

The Ship & Mitre are holding Wirral Beer Festival.  There are over a 80 different beers to try, ranging from light to dark. If you enjoy a good pint, this is probably for you. Offering live music and tasty drinks, this will make a great casual Saturday afternoon.
